North Hennepin Community College offers a number of popular Computer Science programs including an A.S. degree designed for transfer to baccalaureate degree programs at four-year institutions in the areas of computer science or computer information systems. This degree also prepares graduates for positions in information technology, computer programming, software development and technical documentation. Students will also learn the fundamentals of computer programming and acquire expertise in design, coding and testing development methodology.

Computer Science certificate programs are available in Application Programming, Game Programming, Internet Programming and Object-Oriented Programming and can be completed entirely online.
