Tuition at Minnesota State Colleges and Universities is lower than tuition at many other colleges and universities because an appropriation by the state helps keep the tuition as low as possible. For every dollar paid in tution, the state pays 78 cents to support a student's education.
In addition, there is more financial aid available than ever before - over $134 billion according to the College Board. Almost $27 million is given to North Hennepin students each year in the form of grants, scholarships, work-study and loans.
