The NHCC Foundation hosts a number of fundraising and recognition events throughout the year in support of scholarships for students at North Hennepin Community College.

Annual Gala
The Annual Gala is the largest annual fundraiser for student scholarships. College supporters enjoy an evening filled with silent and live items to bid on, entertainment and a fine dining experience.

Bowling Tournament
The Foundation hosted their second annual bowling tournament on April  28, 2011 at Brunswick Zone. All the money raised at this event went towards child care assistance for students with dependent children.

Golf Tournament
The third annual Golf Tournament was held this year on September 30th at Sundance Golf in Maple Grove. It was a beautiful and fun-filled day that helped raise money towards student scholarships. Thank you to all those who participated and volunteered!

Medallion Awards
The Medallion Awards event recognizes the integrity, innovation and excellence in education. Awards are given to the recipients of the Presidential Medallion, Distinguished Alumni, Professor Emeritus, Excellence in Education, Excellence in Service and the Educator of the Year. Staff and faculty retiring and those with 15 years of service are recognized for their service and commitment. This year's event was held on September 9th in the Fine Arts Center Theatre.
