MN Resident Tuition Rate
Effective with the 2007-2008 academic year, North Hennepin Community College made a commitment to charge the MN resident tuition rate to non-residents as well.
MN Resident Status
MN resident status is determined at the time of application according to the permanent residence of the student and based on the following:
- Residency must be established for at least one (1) calendar year immediately prior to application.
- Residency must not be primarily for the purpose of attending college or university.
Residency status does not update automatically after you are admitted to the College and have resided in MN for one (1) calendar year. If you believe you meet the requirements for resident tuition, you must petition for residency by the second week of the term to effect your residency status for the term. |
